well ive bought 3 4wd drive loader tractors starting in 2010.1 was mx5100 hst 4x4 rops loader.2 trade the mx5100hst for a 2012 7040su rops loader 4x4.3 traded the 7040 for a 2112 case 110a cab 4x4 fel.so ive done good in 7yrs.

no 1 left to have farm auctions.the dairies used to hold sales on the farm to sell cattle and equipment.but they no longer do they as theres less than 20 dairies left in my county.

we quit seeing farm sell outs here years ago.but we are picking some equipment up real cheap if we want it.examples 32ft gooseneck flatbed for $3500 a 13.5 ft kuhn cutter for $2500 3yr old 4 by 6 NH baler $10,000.all of this from a guy with 300 momma cows.that no longer wants to hire a ranch hand.

time for a new tractor.

sell the old cows and dont think twice about it.i look at selling my cows once they are 10yrs old.because at that age or older you run the risk of them getting sick and dieing.

does your tractor not have power steering.if so id check the power sterring it maybe out of fluid.i know our old 7700 runs out of power steering fluid.never heard of steering running off the hydro pump.

it was a jd 567 baler.nesi this is the 1st round baler weve ever had to burn up.

it was a shock esp since a bearing had been replaced 2 months ago.im hoping we can get a baler thats not so bad about blowing bearings.but thats not gonna happen.

i know honda offers deals at differant times of the year.i never have bought when i thought was a good time to buy.i always when i need it.

well the baler blew a bearing and went up in flames.the goodthing is they was able to unhook the tractor and get it out of the way.sure is a crappy way to end the season.no 1 was hurt unhooking the baler.we know where theres 2 balers thats barely been used at all both 3yrs old and less than 1300...

i prefer to eat my own home raised beef over store beef.we have the meat cut into steaks for frying and hamberger meat.need to put 1 in the pen to feed out for 120 days or less now.i cant see feeding them to 1200lbs.

with the layer house you can also sell your litter for $10 a ton when you clean out the layer house.theres no telling how much litter is sold around here.

if your smart you wont ever retire to the point of sitting down.because ive seen and know people that done that.well they didnt live to much longer.me ive slowed down alot in the last 4yrs due tobe rough on my body.but i never intend to retire.my oldest is 60 now and he is helping my nephew...
