    Oak Hollow

If Kenneth is selling them directly I’d take him at his word that they will be what he says they are.

    Oak Hollow

Have never used a bull directly but have comm cows out of two of his bulls that we bought as bred heifers that are now 11 and nursing calves. I’ve spoken with him a few times and toured the herd several years ago; the cattle are no nonsense and work in a fescue environment.

    Angus bull calf

Does propagating genetic defects not concern you when keeping bulls from cows with unknown history? I’ve used and continue to use dirty bulls but I know it and can manage the breedings, interested in your take on the subject.

    SCHIEFELBEIN EFFECTIVE 61

I have no personal experience with his offspring; but have seen the bull several times while in MT at the Genex facility. He's a moderate bull that seems very calm in the pens; when you get behind the bull or in front he doesn't have a tremendous amount of base width and doesn't blow that rib...

    Doing some research...

It will be interesting to see how High Road shakes out. He has two very good things going for him in my opinion; his mother is cranking out the good ones and producing top end bulls with tremendous figures and type year in and year out, granted she is still a young cow. If he can sire more...

    Hybrid Bermuda

I'm in south Central KY and contemplating adding a hybrid bermuda to some sacrifice areas aswell as a select few other pastures. I'm hoping in the Sacrifice areas to add a thicker sod so the cattle won't have as much mud, while adding it to a few select pastures to aid in the dilution of KY 31...

    Uterine Tone

The wife is dabbling with A.I. on a few cows; that being said are there any good articles, pdf's, or just your explaination that accurately describes uterine tone?

    Any Experience with H2R PROFITBUILDER B403 ?

He isn’t a heavy muscled bull, nor a really free striding bull. I’ve seen him a few times at genex in MT.

    Picture Day

Some high CE bulls are that because they sire extremely narrow based, flat sided small live calves; it’s hard to find a bull that is highly proven to be a heifer bull that can sire base width, rib shape, and big tops. This is why I used him on the later type females in hopes of maintaining...

    Picture Day

You’ll be glad you bred her to high stakes when she calves unassisted with a very vigorous calf. We’ve calved around 30 red angus heifers to him and haven’t touched one. As a bonus the females seem to be pretty nice considering the level of CE he has. I did bred him to heifers with...

    Fall Pictures

The top bull looks like a junior herd sire prospect to me! Nice!

Registered Black Angus having a red calf?

If both parents are registered angus, and the resulting calf is really good you may of hit the jackpot. Red angus can use an outcross sire with genetic merit.

    concrete, rubber, or galvanized tanks?

Behind our house we have a heavy implement tire laying on its side with the side wall cut out. Poured concrete in the bottom with a stainless nipple and a heavy stainless float. This is the field we keep the bulls in during the off season and so far we haven't had a trouble.

    S s objective t510

I don't guess they all can be bad; may have something to do with a bell curve or her dam being sired by a 41-93 daughter. Moderate, easy fleshing, and cool as a cucumber. Outside of this cow I know of no others that I would be truly interested in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-sjZiIx1yI
