The rock phospahte will not be available in large enough amounts to do you much good. The phosphate you use as an actual fertilizer starts off in a rock form, but it has been reacted with acid to make it more readily available. Hope this helps.

I'm thinking about planting some winter peas to bale for hay. I know they would make good hay, but do they make a decent amount of tonnage? Also, what kind of tonnage could I expect from planting blackeyed peas ? Have ya'll had better luck with them in rows or drilled? No one has ever planted...
