Houston, Texas - Don't miss the largest family event in the Brahman breed July 6-11, 2015, at the Four States Fairgrounds in Texarkana, Ark. More than 250 American Junior Brahman Association (AJBA) members from eight states will exhibit 650 head of registered Red and Gray Brahman cattle and F-1 females. Youth participants will compete for more than $50,000 in prizes and awards and $20,000 worth of scholarships will be presented during this exciting event.

The event kicks off Wednesday, July 8, with the showmanship contest judged by Jary Douglas of Athens, Ga. Thursday is the bred & owned female and F-1 Female shows judged by Gerald Young, Katy, Texas. Friday is the owned female show judged by Mark Ebeling, Burnet, Texas, after which will be the AJBA Annual Membership Meeting. Judge Ebeling wraps up the show on Saturday, July 11, with the owned bull show.

Not just a cattle show, youth will also compete in fun, educational contests throughout the week, like public speaking and photography, to name a few. Also, the AJBA Queen and Princess will be crowned and the whole event concludes with an awards banquet and dance Saturday night.
