A large crowd was on hand September 27th in Lyles, Tennessee for Martin Farms' Open House at the Farm. Fifty-three lots of cattle and genetics sold into eight states including Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Virginia, New York, and South Dakota.

On September 26th, eleven finalists gathered for interviews, and three youth were awarded the William Kenneth Ambrose Memorial Heifer Scholarship provided by Martin Farms, Slate Farms & Cattle Co., and Waters Edge Farm. Collin Stanley of College Grove selected Lot 44, Miss WEF Bubbles sired by Gibbs 1084Y Tux & Tails; Aaron Lay of Madisonville selected Lot 5, MF Upsy Daisy sired by SS Upscale X25; and Lindsey Parsley selected Lot 43, SFCC Gloria sired by CLO Bull 18SY.
