NORTH CAROLINA FALL HARVEST SIMMENTAL SALE AVERAGES $3,312

It was a historic day for both the North Carolina Simmental Association and the Simmental beef industry, as the NCSA celebrated their 40th annual state sale. It would be hard to find another state that has been dedicated to having an event for members to market their genetics. Friday night included their annual membership meeting and fun auction, followed by Saturday's Fall Harvest Sale; which was home to a packed house. Cattle and genetic lots sold to 11 states including: Virginia, South Carolina, Kentucky, Alabama, South Dakota, Georgia, Mississippi, Iowa, Tennessee, Ohio, and Oklahoma.
