Kathy and Scott Ledbetter hosted one of the most exciting sales of the spring 2009 sale season. A capacity crowd of over 300 people were on hand to witness this Inaugural Female Sale for Lone Oaks Angus. The Angus fellowship and the hospitality made for a refreshing and exciting event that left those who attended excited about being involved in the Angus business.

For over ten years the team at Lone Oaks has been dedicated to breeding superior Angus genetics and their first sale showcased what determination and discipline can produce in a breeding program. Many of the cattle selling were the product of their intensive ET program with the Lucy, Eisa Erica, Forever Lady and Everelda Entense families well represented. Progressive cattlemen from New York to California were in attendance, with a total of 61 buyers from over 20 states adding these top genetics to their programs.
