The third Magnolia Classic sale was a very exciting day as interest was very high with all in attendance agreeing this was the strongest offering ever assembled for the Classic. It was encouraging to see how well these Full Fleckvieh cattle had responded to the severe drought that had fallen upon the East. All of our consignors have been involved in what many are calling the “100 Year Drought.” But it did not stop the quality of the cattle or the enthusiasm to purchase them as we had a large number of new buyers and ranches with interest in the stands. The combination Flecks, Red Angus and SimAngus seemed to be encouraging for a lot of folks as cattle sold into 15 states consisting of: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia.

Sale Management: Schwake Cattle Services, LaRue, Texas.

Auctioneer: Dan Skeels, Rimbey, Alberta Canada.
