R.A. BROWN RANCH HOSTS 33RD ANNUAL SALE

Red Angus were red hot at the R.A. Brown Ranch 33rd Annual “Steadfast Commitment” Sale in Throckmorton, Texas on October 10, 2007. A new record was set when the first Red Angus bull in the ring sold for $100,000. From the standing room only crowd, with over 600 people in attendance plus 581 watching on the internet came the 218 buyers from 21 different states.

The Brown family revealed their Steadfast Commitment to their customers as they sold over 725 of the best cattle in the beef industry. Throughout the sale they expressed their sincere gratitude to all of their loyal customers, many of which were repeat customers including the Hendrix Corporation in Arkansas who have now purchased bulls in 30 of the 33 R.A. Brown Ranch Bull Sales, totaling over 350 bulls.

The Browns continued their tradition of selling bird dog puppies to benefit West Texas Rehab Center for Crippled Children. Four dogs were sold for a total donation of $1,750.

He is a son of Lancer 806 with an amazing EPD profile that combines calving ease, growth, marbling and muscle like no other bull in the breed.
