A total of 165 bulls sold for an average of $1,125.

Forty one consignors from seven states sold 10 breeds of bulls to 79 buyers from five states (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina).

The sale was topped at $3,600 with the top 10 bulls averaging $2,335; the top 25, $1,978; the top 50, $1,704; the top 75, $1,520; and the top 100, $1,389.

The Champion Range Bull was Lot 187, a Simmental bull consigned by Kenco Cattle Company of Petersburg, Tenn. He sold for $2,500 to Maijub Farm of Osteen, Fla.

The Champion Pen of Three Bulls were Lots 159, 160, and 161, Red Angus bulls consigned by Sugar Valley Farm of Lynnville, Tenn. The pen average was $1,433.

The Reserve Champion Pen of Three Bulls were Lots 50, 53, and 55, Brangus bulls consigned by Hagler Farms of Kingston, Tenn. The pen average was $900.

The top selling bull was Lot 28, an Angus bull consigned by M & R Angus Farm of Montgomery, Ala., and selling for $3,600 to W. S. Newell Farms of Montgomery, Ala.

The volume buyer was Bagents Farm of Luverne, Ala. with eight bulls.
