$2,975 – Cow/calf split -- RVW MS Eliminator 970 P, 9-17-99, sired by ASC Eliminator 032, bred to VCR Mr. Eliminator 618 E, heifer calf born 8-26-01 by Skymont Flash 5030. Consigned by Riverview West, Cadiz, Ky. Sherman Adkins, Eubank, Ky., selected both the cow and the calf.

$2,800 – Cow/calf split – HF Kelly PLD J56, 5-20-99, sired by Wyoming Wind 4020, safe in calf to Baldridge Fasttrack 82F. Bull calf, 10-20-01 by Sparrows Alliance. The pair was consigned by James Hayden, Bardstown, Ky. The cow went to H & S Charolais Farm, Bowling Green, Ky., for $1,950. The bull calf to Joe Deavers, Benton, Ky., for $850.

$2,650 – Cow/calf split – Wells Duchess Alger 922, 5-22-99, sired by VCR Sire Duke 914 Pld. Heifer calf, 10-3-01, by ASC Eliminator 032, from Wells Charolais, Winchester, Ky. The cow was purchased by Double A Stock Farm, Burlington, Ky., for $1,800, while the calf went to James Hayden, Bardstown, Ky., for $850.

$2,600 – Cow/calf pair – RV Ursula 912 P, 2-15-99, by LT Unlimited Ease 9108, polled bull calf, 3-15-02, by JWK Major K009. This pair was consigned by Riverview West and purchased by Hunting Meadows, West Union, Ohio.

$2,150 – Cow/calf split – MCF Soveran Velveta, 3-19-95, by LHD Mr. Perfect Y416, bull calf 9-14-01, by ASC Eliminator 032, consigned by Double B Charolais, Benton, Ky. The cow went to Joe Deavers, Benton, Ky., for $925, the bull calf to Colter Farms, Willisburg, Ky., for $1,225.

$2,150 – Cow/calf split – RV Maxine Model 504 P, 1-30-95, by JES Moderator Z 435, bull calf 10-2-01, by RVW Yeoman 865, consigned by Riverview West. The cow went to Charley Barkman, Bowling Green, Ky., for $1,000. Her bull calf to Charles Chaney, Hardyville, Ky., for $1,150.

Bull calves were in strong demand. Young cows with performance sold well. The sale had an excellent consignment of cows with big calves at side.
