Like the bull sale a month earlier, this was one of the best attended female sales ever for the Louisiana Angus Association. Of special interest was a really powerful set of fancy halter broke, well bred open heifers. The young females with high quality calves at side had the most active bidding of any group offered. The demand for Angus cattle is growing stronger and stronger in Louisiana and the Louisiana Angus Association is leading the way for promotion.
