The Scattered Oaks Dispersal Sale held 9-29-01 was well attended with the states of Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas being represented.
There were 92 buyers for the sale of 343 Registered Brangus lots, 40 commercial lots and 11 ranch horses.
High selling 3-in -1
Lot 211/211A, was purchased by Doguet's Diamond D Ranch of Beaumont, Texas for $4,400. The cow sold safe in calf to Lucky 13 with a heifer calf at side born 1-29-01 by Lucky 13.
Lot 46/46A was split and the cow (safe in calf to Lucky 13) was purchased by H. C. Ferguson, of Houston, Texas for $2,100 and the Lucky 13 calf at side was purchased by Dr. Woody Ray of Killeen, Texas for $1,900.
Lot 174/174a was split and the cow (safe in calf to SOR Lookout 925/G21) was purchased by Angelo Zottarelli of Austin, Texas for $2,000 and the Cisco 890/H4 calf was purchased by Don Cox of Katy, Texas for $1,600.
High Selling Pair
Lot 13, was purchased by Steve Townsend of New Mexico for $7,300. Sold with a May 2001 calf at side by Mr. S. T. Lucky Jr. 94H.
Lot 14, was purchased by Doguet's Diamond D Ranch of Beaumont, Texas for $5,800. Sold with a March 2001 calf by SOR Snapper 10/G.
Lot 28, was purchased by PF Farms for $4,700. Sold with a September 2001 S.T. Lucky Jr. 94H calf at side.
Lot 258 was purchased by Mark and Jeline Littman of Wallis, Texas for $3,000. Sold with a September 2001 heifer calf at side by SOR Mr Cisco 890/H4.

Lot 99, SOR Mr Lookout 58/3, was purchased by Jack Linder of Lampasas, Texas for $3,700.

Lot 85, safe in calf to Mr Lookout 58/J was purchased by PF Farms for $2,500.
Lot 66 was purchased by Stalwart Ranch of Willis, Texas for $1,800.
Lot 214, safe in calf to SOR Lookout 925/G21 was purchased by Mark and Jeline Littman of Wallis, Texas for $1,800.

Donation To Red Cross Relief Fund
Lot 253A, designated for proceeds to go to the Red Cross Relief Fund, was purchased by David Eller for $2,000. He donated it back to be resold again and it was purchased by Former Governor Mark White for $2,000. He donated it back to be resold and it was purchased again by Mark White for $1,100. All total $5,100 will be donated to the Relief Fund.
