Buddy of mine needed a tax exemption and ran across these. I thought they looked like a pretty good group and he pulled the trigger.

My guess is the fella sold em for the feed bill.

Those girls are FLESHY! What's he gonna put on them!

What kind of $'s did he have to part with?

We haven't talked about it yet. They are Sept/Oct. calves, so he's got time. They just landed at his place two weeks ago. We didn't talk dollars, but I can find out.

thats a good price for open heifers.now all he needs is a good polled hereford bull.

Great price for some great looking heifers!

I'd go with an Angus bull but Hereford is good too.

Being that you are in Texas I would do a brangus.

well after brangus was said i was thinking char bull.but that would be a termanal cross.beefmaster would work real good on the heifers an produce replacement heifers.

its pretty bad when thats all some1 has to say about some1s cattle is that they are junk.but hey thats ok,youd be surprised at what i know an the big time herds that i know.

i would put an angus heifer bull on them as heifers and 2 year olds then a simmental or gelbvieh for replacements but since your in the south I'd go with a beefmaster brangus or some other type of brahman influenced bull terminal = char all the way.
