Flies On Truck

Postby Running Arrow Bill » Tue Apr 10, 2012 11:28 am

While on my daily run to the Post Office this morning, there were about 15 to 20 flies resting on the side of my truck.

They stayed on the truck until I got to 65 mph when they finally blew off! Talk about "staying power"...lol.

One on windshield didn't blow off until I hit 70...

Its amazes me that even at 70 mph the pollen won't blow off. :???:

I done that myself, but I got wondering how many times it's the excuse used when someone is pull over for speeding? ....... Well officer, there was a fly hanging to the windshield ....... It hung on until 79 or 80 ......
I'm not afraid of hard work, I can lay down next to it and fall asleep without a problem.

Flies are terrible this year but they are a close 2nd to the mosquito population. Both have me to the point that I am leaving the windows rolled up when I park the truck.
Our ancestors gave us this. They fought to make it what it is. All we have to do is defend it.
