My moms side of the family are all from ok originally and went west during the depression and dust bowl. I got to hear a lot of stories about noodling old reservoirs and road banks that had been flooded.
I'd do it a few times. Can't be any worse than lobstering or conch diving.
Now conch diving, that's another story.

Well that explains a lot! Mine too and I can honestly say they were my toughest relatives just maybe not the...Well lets just say not the most trainable! :cowboy:

Great uncle Vic, is that you?
But go ahead and say it. I'm a stubborn sob. And not always the brightest. that's where being stubborn is a benefit. Eventually I'll figure it out

Vic and I are from the normal side of the family and Hook and Isom are from the side NO ones ever speaks of at the reunions
seems like their great gramma ran of with a guy from the Delta and the combination didn't work to well so we try not to speak of them or admit that we even know them
If they had to actually work with a Spade and Hoe versus electing them we would all be better off (Caustic Burno 2011)

Of course y'all have to understand, AC and Vic's side of the family is all line bred and proud of it. Me and Hook stay away because it's a requirement to marry your first cousin, and them reunions he talks about is nothing more than a "First Cousin Weddin Fest".

And a shotgun weddin at that. But not the way you think.
They make all the single male cousins walk out about 120 yds into a field. Then they take uncle Vic's 12g Ithaca and put a load of #7 with a female counsins name on it into it.
Who ever gets hitting a pellet marries that cousin. Sometimes there's multiple hits and that gets a bit complicated. But seein that there's more male than female single cousins it usually works out

Hammerhead what you can't understand is wagonwheel genetic's ya'll are all heavy linebred.
I know this is difficult being the gene pool has no deep end, only a wading pool slowly picture a wagon wheel.
Virgin at one of your family reunions is a 13 year girl that still out run her brother.

This probably ain't the time to admit this but my mom's sister married a cousin, just not sure how close. I think their grandmothers were first cousins. Of course in some families(Isom and Hook) that would darned near be an outcross.
