Planted yucchi and apache arrowleaf. About 8-10 lbs an acre. Last planting I added a bag of Ball clover with the leftover yucchi and apache.
Oats was Bob oats. Some with winter pea mixed in and some with Gulfcoast ryegrass.
Earlier plantings I didn't included the ryegrass and planted a thicker stand of oats. This last planting in order to stretch the oat seed I included the ryegrass and cut back on oats. Not going to need to graze that for a while anyway. Really haven't seen much ryegrass coming up and is part of the reason I included it. I know we have had enough moisture for it the last 60 days. Might have gotten eaten by grasshoppers or it is still to warm for it to survive and thrive. Might have been to wet, had several really wet weeks when everything was beginning to yellow and drown out
