This might seem like a dumb question but what exactly is fogging?

well, it's liquid, so when it's blown on will be wet :P it's up to you whether you then comb it through and blow it, or just leave it to air dry. but if you do blow dry, make sure you brush it in real well before doing so.

i meant do you wet the calf or not lol. but i gotcha

How do you guys mix it? Like 3 parts conditioner and 1 part vinegar? Also, does the conditioner attract flies or does the vinegar seem to repel them? Thanks for the trick!

Ratios are discussed on the first page.
I've never noticed any problem with flies.

Another question, have any of you tried using it in like a spray bottle instead of a fogger? Do you think it would have the same effect? And one of you said something about overdoing it...do they just look greasy if you over do it or what?

I used this mixture this year and it did work. I tried it in a sullivans spray bottle first b/c I had one on hand. A 50/50 mixture in the bottle was tooo thick to spray out. I also put a conditioner rinse on after their daily wash, so I'm not sure which worked (or they both worked). Glad I asked and thanks for the good tip!!!

I love using this, the animals always seem to come up really well. I also mix and match with a few other things, but a friend of mine used just this for about 2-3 weeks every day before the show and seriously, I've never seen a steer come up better.
