Hey There from Nimrod,Mn!

Postby Pickles Dillman » Mon Jan 19, 2009 11:23 pm

I've been lookin at this forum for quite some time now and I'm thinkin I really like it!
I'm from Checotah Oklahoma origanally but have been living in Minnesota for about 15 yrs. now. I married one of the meanest northern women a feller could find but I guess she suits me just fine. Momma said a softer woman couldnt tollerate me so I better just shut up and take it!
I run my own horse training buisness up here and there seems to be enough horses in Minnesota and the connecting states and Canada to keep me in the saddle year round. We call our place Oklasota Ranch and Dillman Training Center. I have cowboyed most all my life for others and finally decided to settle in with my own small bunch of momma cows. Only 25-30 head for now but we are buying the neighboring 120 acres to add to our 80 so maybe in a year or two I'll add a few more.
I really enjoy the knowledge that is shared on this board and I can see me lookin at it alot in the future.

Well Thanks Everyone!

Oh Yea, You just know that God does have a sense of humor. Believe it or not I am the only Pickles Dillman in Nimrod! The rodeo announcers just have a field day with it when the get to say to the crowd, "Next up , and I'm not kidding folks, we have Pickles Dillman from Nimrod Minnesota!"
I used to hate that name when I was a kid untill one day my Dad says "son it's a tab bit more masculin than Peaches!" Point taken, I learned to live with it!!
Onthebit, yes I get quite a few gaited horses in every year, worked 7 of them last summer.
Well I gotta get outside, only need to put on three layers to do chores this morning so I want to take advantage of the beautiful weather!
