This is a heifer calf born to an Angus cow..this cow was my on death's door bottle calf y'all may remember from afew years ago.

This is a bull calf born to a Brangus heifer..this heifer was actually the first calf of my Brangus cow.

And this is my learning experience..bull calf out of my Brangus cow. She hadn't calved yet when I sent them all back to the same brangus bull..so I didnt know what the calf would look like..now I know..while he is super cool looking, not sure a brangus bull is a wise choice for this particular cow..unless Im looking to produce bucking bulls..as that is what he looks like. He is also monsterly huge, even though he was born a month after the other calves. The evil part of me wants to halter break him and let my son show him in the market steer class at the county stock show next winter...just because of how he looks.

So, now I need to figure out what my plan is this year..love the calves off the first two by the Brangus bull..not sure what Im going to do with big momma cow #3..
