Warts can be anywhere just like on humans. Hairy warts I think are hoof related

Do you mean hairy wart, a.k.a. digital dermatitis? Yes, that is on the hoof. Warts are viral and can appear anywhere. Ringworm is a fungus.

No - we are referring to warts. They can come up any place on their body - mostly on the front end. I believe you are referring to hairy heel warts - mostly a dairy problem.
There are numerous "strains' of warts and that is why the vaccine is so in-effective. Like the Pinkeye vaccines.
