i have a high tensil fence. 4 strand, 4foot high each strand 1 foot apart . all wires are hot about 4.4--4.8k on each wire. have a new calf that can walk right thru the fence. all wires are pulled tight.anyone had this problem.

Bad ground? Is it dry where your at? I only have a 4 wire around my yard. It works much better if 2 of them are ground; hot-ground-hot-ground. Ask my wife how I know :lol2:

yes it is dry some rain last weekend i think she is learing to respect the fence.other cows make no attempt to go near it i have 6 ground rods each about 10foot apart.

Drop a slice of boloney on to the bottom wire and call the neighbor's dog over. He'll let ya know if it's working or not. :hide:
