Looks to me like you could knock those trees down and plant another hill or two of cotton.

They are some real pretty pecan and cypress. We cleaned up the hackberrys and some other trash trees and vines, left some presimon(sp) and oak. Also a few elms because they make such a mess to clean up. Getting it where we can keep it clean an hold water in it so it looks nicer.

Surprised to see 5 or 6 leaf corn on the 29th of April. Everyone around here is just now putting the push on to plant. I helped a neighbor this week and we got about 500 acres in. As soon as it dries up again we will get back at it hard again. Your corn looks good in the picture.

Crop farmers (Corn, Beans) are near 90% done here, by my guess.

Got our on private rain yesterday, came from nowhere and went to nothing. Didn't even have a chance it the 15 day forcast, didn't even get it over all of the farm but got most of it. That big red is the one hitting us.
