I saw today i could buy a flight from Vancouver to Rome in September for $400. They also offered insurance. Wishful thinking.

Yes, the flight is $400 - but, they will guide you into paying another $200-400 for "comfort", baggage, carry-on, etc.

Still cheap with $400 extra in baggage fees.

But my point is more so there is no way these flights will go ahead. You'll just end up collecting airline credits to a company that is on the way to bankruptcy. Its like they are funding money to support their bankruptcy. Because once that claim is made and bankruptcy is started everyone loses all their credits.

I have debated planning Disneyworld Dec 2020 tho…

But there is a tonne of trials finishing and they are finding some effective treatments for when people start going down hill so in one way buying a bit more time is not such a bad thing. Certainly people have had enough of the shut downs, just see the beaches in the u.k. And now the U.S. owns one of our major airlines. Better than the Chinese though.
Was talking about that today and having a chuckle, I was thinking wait till we find out the Chinese are the back room funders....

If it were taken, it may be a one way trip due to multiple aspects.....

Not Rome....a relo just passed the other day from corona over there....

I intend to stay put, I dislike travel via air anyways unless it is short.....i.e...within my country, which is the type of travel that is ok and should be encouraged.......apart from our knitwits runing the show here who have some states still closed.

There are many issues with travel os, such as medical and costs and no insurer will cover for corona that I know of, so unless work reqd it and covers you, I would not go even if free or they paid me TBH.

Shelves wiped clean of loo rolls....and we are a rural area......wow.....this is really giving me the dirts.....

It has to be the recent imports or people wanting to onsell.....I am peed off and dissapointed to say the least.

US has 45000 cases it was said today, we had 45 it was said to me.....can ya all get loo roll ?

This is lunacy, absolute lunacy, it is one thing we do make a lot of here in my state too....bahhhhh

There is a global fascination with the faltering US government response. Being able to test and trace is too hard for our politicians. Maybe Russia or China will help us out?

There is some data coming out now for % asymptomatic cases by age. Almost all teenagers are asymptomatic. Hard to see how schools will stay open in the fall w/o weekly testing.

Shoot 'em and bury them. That'll slow down any transfer of the virus if they are dead. Sick of the idiots rioting, burning, tearing stuff down. Really really tired of the ones that think they are owed for "sins committed by our ancestors"....

Isn’t it safe to say that there is a lot that is unknown about the virus? It’s crazy how it barely affects some people, while it lands others in the hospital for 60 days or more and kills others. I see it’s picked back up in some states that reopened, and what about the idea that it hasn’t died out with the summer like the flu does.
