So does that mean I can only have one? Are you going to guarantee my safety?

I can only guarantee mine.

Sounds kinda like, if you're hunting with your buddy and a grizzly bear starts to charge you, you shove your buddy to the ground before you start running! Lol

Yup, they own casinos, Joe crab shack, rainforest cafe... all kinds of stuff.

When you go in salt grass and see all the cowboy painting on the wall notice how none of the guys have guns.

Tillman Fertitta throws huge fundraisers and donates tons of money to anti-gun organizations.

They sold Joe's Crab Shack. It sounds like an ignorant manager untrained in a corporate policy and a psycho customer who made the manager view the policy in a distorted way. "The customer had to be escorted out for fear of being shot"..... My restuarant doesn't allow customers to open carry, it's just something that makes others uncomfortable sometimes. When my company made the policy it was clearly communicated. Cops are allowed to carry the weapon, robberies are a real thing, cops get a discount to eat here. Outback is being screwed by this stupid manager.

Ok. This makes more sense to me. I like Outback and I make an effort to eat there when I am in Lexington, KY. I am not aware of an anti-carry policy. Sounds like a policy specific to one restaurant.

We eat at outback once in a while. Never seen one posted.

Sounds like an idiot customer found her an idiot manager in this case.

I don't pay any attention to signs unless it is an actually illegal place to carry.

I will get a pushy customer every once in a while try to make me force another customer to do something that is not right or in my authority, I have to use common sense in the situation. Every ones money is green, but it seems some people who lack authority or power in thier own lives try to exact it out in restaurant's or business's that have to cater to the "customer is always right" motto. Well, as a manager, I will say, the customer is not always right, sometimes I gotta let them know, in a calm way :D

I own guns. My family owns guns. But I think it's a business's right to decide their gun policy, and I can understand why a restaurant that caters to a broad swath of society (especially families) would decide they don't want guns.

I think gun owners need to be respectful of others' opinions. To me that's just common civility. Of course, if you really can't bear to eat a tough steak and and a fried onion (or whatever the h3ll those godawful chains serve) without a gun on you, you'll vote with your feet, as noted. You can go home, make yourself a better, juicier, bloodier steak, and eat it surrounded by your entire arsenal, if you wish. :D
