my daughter and grand daughter are staying with us for a bit and every afternoon when I get home she has her arms stretched out for me to take her and go for our evening cow check. she couldn't care less what her mama and Mimi want. It fills your heart full. she also has found that she falls asleep better laying with me in the recliner at night. she just turned 10 mths and it is a blessing.

I feel like October will never get here. Like a child waiting on Christmas.

She had another ultrasound Monday. The young lady that does them said that my son and daughter-in-law were cool, she liked them, and she could use some more practice, so she'd do another one for free. Still a boy.

I have an update, but not what or when I expected. There are complications, so they saw a specialist this morning. She estimates him at 3-1/2 pounds, and he's not thriving, so she wants to do a C-section Friday. Please keep the prayers coming.

Rafter, sounds like she is about 7 months along. My son was born at 7 months (to the day) and was about the same weight. He spent almost 2 months in NICU but is now a strapping young lad, just graduated college. It may be rocky for a little bit but there is likely a very good outcome still. My thoughts are with you all. Keep calm and do everything ya'll can to comfort lil mama, it's a very scary thing to go through and she needs others not to fall apart.
Also, I hope she is going to deliver at a hospital with the highest level neonatal intensive care (Level III).
