A Welcomed Christmas Present

Post by FlyingLSimmentals » Wed Dec 25, 2019 5:09 pm

Not much prettier than a Simmental blaze face newborn on the farm on Christmas Morning. The food was good, the gifts just fine, and the company alright. But I think I enjoyed seeing that newborn calf and the terrific weather the most on this Christmas Day. It's been a good day, Merry Christmas everybody.

Going to get a pic today if I don't celebrate my birthday too hard. Didn't have a camera yesterday when I discovered the little one.

Here's momma and her 1st little one, "Joy" figure that name would fit her well being a Christmas baby.

Beautiful pair! And a lil heifer to boot!

We named our Christmas baby Joseph.
Hes out of a bought bred heifer. Cant weigh but about 50 or 60 pounds. Good and healthy tho. And that's a blessing.

No mistaking her mama, they're practically twins! Congrats.
