Nice set of calves, the mommas look good too. Is that bull alittle grey tinted instead of solid black?

He is solid black and registered Brangus I see in the pic what you are referring to but it is probably my bad camera skills.

I would be tickled with them. I think the bull, cows, and calves look great.

Thanks. At breeding was worried about maybe too much leather with Brangus bull and Gert/Hereford females but the calves don’t show allot of leather to my surprise. Females will go in our black cow herd to add some more Brahman back in the mix.

They all look great. I really do like a good brangus bull and Gert/hereford is one of my favorite crosses. I never really thought of crossing them together but it sure looks like it works.

Sheath is a little sloppy but otherwise nothing wrong with that bull at all. Might want to consider culling the old gal with the bad udder. Overall a nice set of cattle.

Yeah agree sheath is sloppy. One reason I was surprised with amount of sheath on calves so far. But know it may pop back up down the line.

I may go one more time on the girl with bad bag. I turned out replacement heifers and Angus bull last week. Wish I would’ve went back with the Brangus fella now.

If the calves have no trouble latching on at calving, I'd just keeping using her as a meat maker till I couldn't..
