We are trying to convert 3 acres of our acreage from corn field into a pasture for our horses.

Does anyone know what the going rate is that we should pay to get the plot disced in preparation for grass seed?

don't know where your located.
around here on farm ground depending on what their doing it's around 10.00 an acre but thats for bigger places.
on 3 acres the travel time would probably be longer than it took to disc it.
i'd say 100.00 minimum, if you could find someone willing to do it.
you may have to pay more just to get someone interested.

If I had a tractor, but no disc, I would rent a no till drill.
