Several "too young" deaths around me lately, but 16? That's terribly sad, and I pray God gets y'all through this.
If the docs NOW know this clot was behind his left knee...if a clot can be traced back that specifically, why can't it be detected before it lets loose and heads to ... My grandad likely died of a clot and I could be his clone, so I have more than a passing interest.

I carry a flask of whiskey in case of snakebite. Also carry a snake.

So sorry to hear of this tragic loss. The whole family must be reeling, especially the brother who tried to save him but couldn't. Thoughts and prayers for all of you.

I'm so sorry. Was just with two of our grandsons earlier this evening. I can't begin to imagine the pain you and your family are feeling right now. May God bless all of you.

Having a 16 and a 15 year old myself, one just beginning to drive and the other taking driver's training I have just wandered what I would do if either were taken away suddenly. It makes me stop what I'm doing and spend a moment with them. We all know that God has a plan and whatever happens will bear fruit, I pray that he will deliver consolation. My prayers are for you to receive that solace.
