Do you ever get on "wikipedia" to look up something and wind up elsewhere? Today I started out on "Lost in Space" and wound up in Australia with Kangaroo dogs! No,I don't know how :???: Anyhow,It's a fun and educational way to while away a few hours.

Some of the stuff on there needs to be double checked. As the information is not always upto scratch. So I'm told. but I have always found it an interesting read.

As I understand it, anyone can plug in their own definitions to wikipedia. Not not sure if that is correct or not,but reading some of the crap that's there makes me beileve it.
Whenever someone says "I'm not book smart, but I'm street smart", all I hear is "I'm not real smart, but I'm imaginary smart".

It's all user generated content from what I understand. I don't use it to check hard facts, but it's handy for the students on literature assignments to get the basic characters and outlines of a story. It's fun. I tell them NOT to rely on it for things like research, though.

You are right dun, that is why I said it needs double checking. On two occasions my Brother has changed things that he knew were not so.
