Now why didn't I think of that?

I don't think the Kit Cat can read.He has gone to bed so I will ask him in the morning.Maybe I will just give him a book about birds and see if he thinks it's a page turner ;-) .

Dumb me the different spelling of catoniaster and cotoneaster completely threw me off :oops:

He's just doing what he does best. Did you know that feral cats are the #1 killer of birds in the U.S. Windows coming in 2nd. I assure you he won't extirpate the birds.

a bell will only make him a better hunter and the birds don't know what that sound means. He is doing what he does best - kill. If you don't want him to get the birds, find a way to keep him out of the bird feeder and the trees they nest in.

My 2 cats pulled baby chicks out of the nests in the trees.
