83 days to the Super Bowl in Minnesota

Postby Son of Butch » Mon Nov 13, 2017 6:33 am

The last time Minnesota Hosted the Super Bowl was 1992
Washington 37
Buffalo 24

Two weeks before the game I was in a casino that was drawing for door prizes.
$500 cash and a pair of tickets to the Super Bowl.
$100 every hour from 8 pm - 12 with grand prize of 2 tickets to the Super Bowl at Midnight.
They gave out $400... 8, 9, 10, 11 o'clock and drew for the tickets at Midnight
Then almost as an after thought they remembered to draw for the final cash prize of $100

I won! Hooray for me! Then I thought who does that? grrrr The Grand Prize is suppose to be last!
I should've won the tickets, not $100!!!
Even when I win, I lose.
:cry2:

Looks like my 1st week Lead Pipe Cinch prediction of KC vs Vikings this season in the Super Bowl is in trouble.
Now it could turn out to be the Pennsylvania Bowl with Philly vs Steelers

I know, I know never count out New England... but I don't have to cheer for them.

I don’t know if they leave Bridgewater on the bench and Keenum alone might make it.
Keenum is on fire this year he still holds NCAA record for chunking the football.
The Vikings went out and put together an all star line and it shows in all aspects of their game.

It's cool to think about the Vikings making it, but in Minnesota we've learned that we can't have nice things when it comes to our sports teams, so I try not to dwell on it. :cry2:

Screw football haven't checked a score all year and don't intend to. I'm very disappointed that the NFL didn't make and set an example for our youth about respect for the country.

The Saints and Panthers are starting to look pretty good they might throw a monkey wrench into the Eagles plans.

Rams aren’t playing real shabby this year either for the NFC West.

I'm thinking the Rams are a year away from being a legit threat. They'll be tested here Sunday.
In any event their head coach should be the front runner for coach of the year.

Could be a business trip for some Southerners. Pull a trailer up, experience the Artic Vortex, and then bring back a load of rescue calves with frozen off ears. :cowboy:

But he is still watching the corrupt colleges where the NFL is drafted from.
College don’t care if the player can read or write just so long as Lee Roy can run the bail on Saturday. Local jail is not a problem foreign bit more tricky
have to get POTUS involved so they can play the next game.

You must have me confused with someone else. I don't watch TV, and we haven't had a TV at home since 2006.

Haven’t needed a tv in years to watch sports.
All you need is an IPhone or computer.

WTF are you talking about? You seem to love these illiterate "jocks" entertaining you every weekend and they have to be passing their courses to play in college. Over half have college degrees when they are drafted into the pros....don't judge their intelligence by how they perform in after game interviews. That would be like passing judgement on all refinery workers based on how CB explains "organic chemistry". :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

TB I like watching monkeys at zoo as well guess I am easily entertained.
Not much difference today in most sports teams. As Howard Cossell stated it’s the monkeys.

That was back in the 80’s when teams were still mostly looked like America and the jack offs Tom Landry booted off the team.

TB, all one has to do is look at CB's composition. His composition skills may in a pinch reach 4th grade level. If he ever passed an Organic Chemistry class, he was bribing the professor.
