Ever try This?

almost 100% of the farming around here is no-till but you have to make sure you get a good kill with round-up before you plant or drill. Most like to hit it again with roundup when it gets a little taller if they are using roundup ready corn. If you ground is more fertile than ours, the corn might beat the grass but it wouldn't here.

NDSU Dickinson Research Extension Center has done some work on grazing corn. About 200 miles west of me. Love the idea, just not the thought of constantly move electric fence to control trampling.
