I weaned 21 heifers, Purina 14% creep is $318 a ton. Why is there such a difference in price with Purina feed across the Country. I am in Central Texas.

Lot's of variation in what's available across the country as well. I weaned using their Purina Stresscare 5 product and their Avila 4 mineral tubs for 21 days. I switched to a mill mixed feed to lessen the cost after day 21 though.

Good question. Location would be one thing. How far the mill has to have commodities shipped, freight from mill to store, what the market can stand. Sometimes there is just no rhyme nor reason for it but all brands will be close in pricing (price fixing maybe?? :shock: :shock: :shock: ) :lol2:

I just creep. 1/3 ddg 1/3 corn 1/3 soy hulls. It has been an ok feed

No im feeding it free choice from 150 pounds until I sell them. I do add bovatec
