Enjoy fooling with them

I left this spring calf intact just to see how he would grow out. Will be 5 months old the 14th. Will probably go to market with some steers the same age when the time comes.

When was that pic taken. I haven't been that green since March, here in mid MO!
We finish calves for butcher. Why is the butcher the hardest part?

Yesterday (Sunday). Haven't been getting the rain a lot of folks around here have, but we're right at 1" above normal and I feel blessed for it. Hope your precip. comes soon.

Hey soonerfan,
I don't own any scales so anything I throw out is just a guess. I figure the calf around 525# low end. Some turn out nice others don't. This one just didn't meet my expectations.
