Skid steer brush cutting

Post by worldteam » Sun May 05, 2019 2:12 am

I have been offered a contract for brush cutting under power lines with my own skid steer and brush hog attachment if i am getting 129.00 per hour for 6 months of work is this a fair price? I am also being offered daily reimbursement for the cost of food and hotel at a rate of 120.00 per day. Let me know if this is fair.

That is good to hear. Now I have to go buy my attachment. Will keep you posted on how I do. They want 10 more skids with ground crews, if it works out I will let everyone know if they still have any openings. I did forget to mention I am looking for 1 exp. Chainsaw operator that will get 35.00 per hour with 120 daily food and housing allowance also.

Around here they get $75/hr for skid steer brush hog work. It sounds like a good deal to me!

If your serious the timber cutters here only get $15 an hour. I'm sure some would be interested
My thoughts only, don't bet the farm on them. KT

Sounds too good to be true.
People are usually shocked when they find out I'm not a very good electrician.
