I am in western Nevada. I want to get some patomoc orchardgrass established in some 1acre plots that are watered weekly with sprinklers. I have read a lot on the different spicies of orchardgrass and think patomoc would do the best for me. Although I have noticed that you may not get a cutting from it the first year until late in the season.
I was thinking of planting teff to get hay this year and maybe the patomoc would be ready the 3rd cutting with the teff. There is quite a bit of both crops grown around here but I can't get much of an answer.
Any help would be great
thanks in advance ,
