How much a Pound

Post by Hereford2 » Fri Nov 22, 2019 5:20 pm

:help: I am wanting to know how much a pound to pay for an Unweaned Pure Black Angus Polled Bull Calf. He weighs 530 and I'm buying it off of our neighbor's.

Here that calf goes for $1.30-$1.40. That is if he is a #1. Lesser quality the price drops like a rock especially on a bull calf.

Why do you want him?

He would have brought a 1.23/lb Thursday at Kentucky-Tennessee Livestock.

Ok thank you. I'm wanting to eat him when he's big enough. I'm in Missouri if that helps price wise?
