Queen of the south sale

Post by Bigfoot » Tue May 07, 2019 10:44 am

I know I won't go, but I am fighting the urge to head that way later in the week. Sale starts at noon on Saturday, might even leave Friday night. I only won't 10 or 12, will there be any groups that size? Price estimates on some F1 brangus?

Crockett Texas. 10 hours from here. I’m actually leaning slightly more towards going.

With the other crosses behind them? I really had my heart set on some F1 brangus, super baldies my second choice.

It’s all about turn out the Tiger girls will be the premium. I don’t remember how many cattle were to be sold.

I called this morning, no open brangus heifers. Breds, but no opens.

I'm not sure what your trying to do, but these folks can make it happen in the Brangus breed.

Bigfoot, Tom Johnson has a sale in Navasota next week . You will have a lot better selection as his sales run 1100-1300 head twice a year . Queens of south is a good sale but not the quantity as Tom's ,both have premium cattle , I have purchased from Tom's in quantities of 10-17 head your choice and have sold at queens of the south : you can google tom at Tom Johnston sales wortham texas hope this helps

I can put you and your new purchases up for an evening if you need it. I'm not far off the beaten path.
