Just curious. Hubby talked to his brother today, and the bro-in-law took some heifers and steers down there this weekend. I suspect BA/Gelbv. cross, cuz that's what he does.

We sold a lot at WHeeler & Sons also. I've forgotten the name of the town but it was further south and east of Appleton.

wheeler & sons is at ocieola mo i buy calves ther sometimes but not real often since i am 140 miles south of there and it is on thursday and i have a other sale i always go to on thursday.

We really liked Burley Wheeler. He'd come to the farm and tell us what the calves would bring and they always brought what he said or more. Real honest man. When we needed cows, he would find them for us on someones farm and we dealt with the farmer. Miss those days!!!
