Polaris 6x6

Postby kenny thomas » Sat Apr 04, 2009 10:11 pm

I have a Polaris 6x6 with a 500cc engine. It has always started really well until this week. It seems that the gas drains back when it sets overnight. You have to crank it for about 15 seconds before it starts. Once it starts there is no problem until it sets overnight again. Any ideas?
My thoughts only, don't bet the farm on them. KT 2009

(1) Park it so that gas line heads down hill to the carburetor.
(2) Could also put a sensitive check valve in the gas line.
