STEAK RUBS for T-BONES
Lemon Basil Rub
Combine 1 tsp each of garlic powder, dried lemon peel and lemon pepper
with ½ tsp basil.
Cajun Rub
Combine 1 tsp each of garlic salt, curry and paprika with ¼ tsp
cayenne.
Southwestern Rub
Combine 1 tsp each of chili powder, garlic salt and oregano with ½
tsp cumin.
Pepper-Herb Rub
Combine 1 tsp dried basil leaves with ½ tsp each of lemon pepper,
onion powder and dried oregano and ¼ tsp rubbed sage.
Rub desired mixture on steaks just before grilling. Each rub makes
enough to season 1 pound of beef.
Suggestion:
Always cook an extra steak and use it the next day to top a salad or
flatbread/pizza.
